Gymnema Sylvestre
Contains gymnemic acids, which exhibit hypoglycemic activity (reduction of blood glucose levels): they stimulate insulin secretion by pancreatic β-cells and reduce glucose absorption from the intestines. Additionally, Gymnema promotes the regeneration of β-cells and demonstrates hypolipidemic effects (reduction of blood lipid levels).
